Game Plan

Well, my trainer said I can fight in this upcoming fight in March. So I'm going to have something to work towards now. I've got a ton to learn with boxing, and even more to learn about wrestling. I was kicking around the idea of having a workout plan for one year instead of a month.... I like the structure, but sometimes I make my own goals without having the motivation to carry them through. I think having a fight in the future will help me stick to a plan. I know I need to build strength, but I also need to build speed and technique.

For strength I want to use Pavel's "power to the people" workout (Bench, Deadlift, pull-ups)

For speed (explosiveness) I will work on HIIT training and the MMA workout

And technique will be bagwork, groundfighting, and sparing.

My diet will be focused on lots of water, vegetables, and limiting the amount of junk food I take in.
