Well, I made it through the weekend without drinking pop, I have to admit, I really wanted some for a while, but I just stuck to the water, and I'm glad I did. I did however splurge a little bit on the junk food side of things, I had a bag of recess's pieces, Friday night, a hot fudge sunday on saturday night, and a bowl of peanut butter ice cream on Sunday night. While this was about all the junk food I had over the weekend, I still could have gone without having it every night of the weekend, since there is really no value gained from eating sugar, actually more harm is done than good.
I had trouble getting out of bed this morning, so I skipped the Y. I'm thinking about going this evening and doing some running or something... I'm kicking around the idea of training for a 5K. I don't know, we'll see. I still really want to get back into boxing, so I might not focus on the 5K thing after all, since I train with one focus instead of haphazard training.
